Community Programs

Community Programs

We offer a number of programs both at the Festival and year-round to engage and inspire our folk community.

For aspiring musicians, we have music classes at The Folk Exchange, a camp to learn about folk music, a program for youth to work one-on-one with Folk Fest performers and another for school groups who don't have a sophisticated musical curriculum to explore instrumentation and songwriting.

The Millennium Library is an great, central location for us to host two monthly folk concerts. Anyone can come down to one of these free shows and enjoy a Saturday afternoon of Festival-style live music!

We host another program that allows community groups who have never had the opportunity to come to the Festival to experience Folk Fest for a day – on us!
