How To Folk – Contest Rules and Regulations
Contest is open to all residents of Canada, the United States and abroad. Employees, and directors of the Winnipeg Folk Festival and their immediate families or cohabitants are not eligible.
Persons are invited to complete the How to Folk Quiz for automatic entry. Contest closes at midnight, CST, May 31, 2012. Maximum one entry per person. Completion of quiz not required by law. Entries can also be mailed to: Winnipeg Folk Festival, 203-211 Bannatyne Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3B 3P2. Please include name and phone number.
The winner will receive a 2012 Winnipeg Folk Festival prize pack that includes a two festival T-shirts, a program book, and a souvenir mug. The winners’ name will be featured on the Winnipeg Folk Festival’s website, Facebook page and the festival’s e-newsletter.
The prize shall be accepted as is and may not be exchanged for an amount of money, nor sold or transferred.
If you are selected as a winner you, or your parents or guardians agree that upon accepting the prize you confirm your eligibility of these rules and release the Winnipeg Folk Festival and its affiliates, as well as their respective directors, officers and employees from all liability for damage or loss arising from participation in this contest or from the awarding, acceptance or use of the prize.
Entrants indemnify the Winnipeg Folk Festival against any claim, demand, action, suite or other proceedings arising out of the use of the photo or any false or inaccurate statements.
All personal information, such as your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address is collected solely for the purposes of administering this contest and shall not be used for any other purposes without your consent. By providing this information you consent to it being used for the stated purposes.
The Winnipeg Folk Festival reserves the right to cancel the contest or modify these rules at its discretion. By entering this contest, entrants agree to abide by contest rules.
