The Winnipeg Folk Festival is special because it is truly a community event. The concerted effort of more than 2,800 volunteers, the music over 200 talented musicians, the beauty of Birds Hill Provincial Park, and the good nature of the thousands of people who make the journey to the Festival each year: all of this combines to create five great days of lasting friendships and fond memories.
