Hand-Made Village
The Winnipeg Folk Festival plays host each year to about 50 artisans from Manitoba and across Canada, who sell their creations in our Hand-Made Village. Clothing, ceramics, jewellery and woodworking are just a few of the types of work represented in the village.
The Hand-Made Village celebrates the long-standing history that folk art and crafts shares with folk music festivals. Come and discover original works, each as unique as the artisans who create them. Every piece is a one-of-a-kind treasure. More.
Shopping
With the Music Store Tent, The Corner Store and Wilderness Supply, you can pick up music, accessories, festival merchandise and souvenirs. More.
Food Vendors
Fantastic food! Delicious drinks! As a signatory of the Manitoba Food Charter, the festival uses fair trade products in our office, at the Folk Exchange, and backstage at La Cuisine where meals for our volunteers are prepared. We are committed to using as much locally sourced food as possible.
Look for LOFT letters that identify menu items that contain local (L), organic (O), or fair trade (FT) ingredients. More.
Taverns
Thirsty? Stop by one of our taverns between shows to enjoy an ice-cold Big Rock draught beer, Mike’s Hard Lemonade or Billy Goat wine. More.
