Job Opportunity - Education and Outreach Coordinator

The Winnipeg Folk Festival is seeking an Education and Outreach Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Artistic Director and working closely with the Executive Director, the Education and Outreach Coordinator will plan and oversee the implementation of all education and outreach programming of the Winnipeg Folk Festival, and to be a staff advocate for any education and outreach opportunities arising within Winnipeg Folk Festival programming.

This includes:

  • Organization and administration of programs including the Folk Retreat, Guests for a Day, and Millennium Library programs
  • Consultation on other existing education and/or outreach programs not limited to but including the Young Performers Program, the Young Artists Program, the Folk School, and Folk School @ the Folk Exchange
  • Planning, research and continued development of ongoing operations and special projects within the Winnipeg Folk Festival
  • Ensuring that all WFF programs support, where possible, the organization’s education and outreach goals
