The Winnipeg Folk Festival is far more than four days in July. The Festival Music Store operates year-round in Winnipeg’s Exchange District, selling an eclectic collection of CDs and merchandise. The Festival’s year-round venue, The Folk Exchange, offers intimate concerts, music classes and art shows. The Festival also offers a Folk Retreat, the Young Performers Program, and the Young Artists Program in the week leading up to the festival. The annual Winter Wassail gala dinner showcases the presentation of the Winnipeg Folk Festival Artistic Achievement Award.
