When it comes to food, we have LOFT-y goals! The festival is making sustainable food choices, both onsite and throughout the year:
- Look for LOFT: Food Vendors have identified menu items containing Local (L), Organic (O), or Fair Trade ingredients (F).
- The Winnipeg Folk Festival is a signatory of the Manitoba Food Charter.
- The festival uses Fair Trade products in our office, at the Folk Exchange, and at La Cuisine backstage.
- Buying Local: at least 25% of the food served in La Cuisine is supplied by Manitoba producers.
