2010 WINNIPEG FOLK FESTIVAL – NOW ACCEPTING MEDIA ACCREDITATION APPLICATIONS
Thank you for your interest in covering the 2010 Winnipeg Folk Festival. Media accreditation applications can be downloaded here and returned to the Winnipeg Folk Festival via fax or mail by Thursday, June 17, 2010.
Please note, the festival offers a limited number of media passes - even if you apply by the deadline, space is not guaranteed. Media vehicle passes are especially limited. Completed applications must be signed by editors, assignment editors, or producers. We do not accredit freelancers without a definite assignment from a program or publication.
During the festival, all performer interviews are arranged through our Media Tent. Interviews with artists prior to or after the festival can be arranged directly with artist publicity. You’ll find links to all artists web sites on the performer line-up page.
Requests for interviews with our Executive Director, Artistic Director, or other members of our staff can be arranged through our Marketing & Communications Manager at (204) 231-0096, or marketing@winnipegfolkfestival.ca.
Images for editorial use are available on our media downloads page, please contact web@winnipegfolkfestival.ca for the password. To receive press releases, please email info@winnipegfolkfestival.ca and ask to be added to our media list.
