Like you, we are watching how the COVID-19 situation is quickly evolving. We are continuing to plan for the 2020 Winnipeg Folk Festival while ensuring everyone’s health and safety is top of mind.
We will follow all official directives from the government and health authorities and will continue to provide updates on our website as this situation unfolds. In the meantime, our office is currently closed to the public and our employees are working safely from home.

If you would like to purchase tickets for the festival, you may do so online at winnipegfolkfestival.frontgatetickets.com and for concert tickets at winnipegfolkfestival.ca/concerts-programs/. Please be assured that our ticket policy below applies.
Here is a list of cancelled or postponed events presented by the Winnipeg Folk Festival:
- April 4: Dan Mangan at The Garrick – POSTPONED until September 25
- April 4: Folk for Families with Adam Rosner at the Millennium Library – CANCELLED
- April 18: In the City at the Millennium Library – CANCELLED
- April 21: Sarah Harmer at The Garrick – POSTPONED (new date TBA)
- May 4: Joel Plaskett at Park Theatre – POSTPONED until November 16
- May 5: Basia Bulat at The West End Cultural Centre – POSTPONED (new date TBA)
We will update this list as necessary.
In light of the many concert cancellations and postponements, we recommend doing what you can to show your support to the artists who are facing these uncertain times by buying their music or merchandise.
We’re so thankful for your patience and support. We need each other more than ever during these uncertain times so while we do need to practise physical distancing, let’s continue to show kindness and love to yourself and others.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
All ticket sales are final except in the situation of a full event cancellation by the Winnipeg Folk Festival.
Subject to the provisions below for an event cancellation, there are no exchanges or refunds once the tickets have been purchased. No exchange or refund will be issued if a festival performer is changed or if their performance is cancelled, rescheduled or delayed.
In the event of a full event cancellation, the Winnipeg Folk Festival will offer refunds and will inform ticket buyers through its official website about procedures for obtaining a refund.
