2023 Winnipeg Folk Fest Tier 1 tickets are ON SALE NOW! Join us at beautiful Birds Hill Provincial Park from July 6-9, 2023 for four incredible days of music, camping and fun with your folk family. Huge thank you to Roberta Landreth for all her hard work on this ADORABLE artwork!
Tickets are available online through Front Gate Tickets and in our office at 203-211 Bannatyne Avenue. Our offices are open Monday to Thursday from 9 AM to 4 PM.
How does the tiered ticketing process work?
Tier 1 – A set number of tickets go on sale, available at this price until sold out.
Tier 2 – When Tier 1 tickets are sold out, tickets at this price become available.
Tier 3 – When Tier 2 tickets are sold out, tickets at this price become available.
I’ve purchased a 4-day ticket without camping, can I add camping?
If you purchased a 4-Day ticket without camping but don’t want to miss out on the campground magic you can request camping by emailing email@example.com and your request for an upgrade will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please note, the tier pricing of your original purchase is not guaranteed. Approved camping tickets will be adjusted to the tier prices available at the time of the change.
Why do tickets go on sale before the lineup is announced?
The Winnipeg Folk Festival has a 50-year legacy in this community and full of traditions – which for some people means getting tickets in time for the holiday season! Tickets go on sale in December because many folkies already know they’ll be at Birds Hill Park for the second weekend in July to celebrate people and music. Planning the festival lineup is well underway and we’ll look forward to sharing it with you when it’s ready!
About the Design
The 2023 artwork, designed by local graphic designer Roberta Landreth, was developed to showcase the magic and joy of the Festival. Every summer at Birds Hill Provincial Park a community is built that reflects the way we all wish the world would be, inclusive, kind and compassionate – a place where we can be unapologetically ourselves. The character of the happy sun playing the banjo (you may recognize it as the Festival’s very first logo!), and many more characters to come, represent that Festival experience, combining classic and new traditions that the Festival community continues to create each summer.
