Volunteer
We are gearing up for the 39th Winnipeg Folk Festival at the office over here in the Exchange District in downtown Winnipeg. We intend to put together another fabulous team of volunteers for the 2012 festival.
Currently, we are accepting registrations for returning volunteers ONLY. (All returning volunteers and those of you who applied in 2011 but did not get placed will receive an email with instructions on how to apply on Wednesday, January 18, 2012.)
New volunteer applications will be accepted after we have heard back from all of our returning volunteers. We expect this will be sometime in March. Stay tuned to this page for more information. If you are a new volunteer be sure to read over the pages “what do we expect?” and “what do we offer in return?” You’ll see that we have created a strong community and network of volunteers. WARNING: once you have been part of creating and nurturing this great event, you may not want to go back to simply attending.
