Production Assistant

The Production Assistant provides administrative and operational support. The Production department connects with all areas of the festival, with a focus on technical production, stages, health and safety, venue operations, inventory management, ingress and egress, campgrounds, vendors, and environmental initiatives.

Marketing Content Coordinator

The Marketing Content Coordinator supports the marketing and communications efforts of the Winnipeg Folk Festival, with a focus on graphic design, video creation and editing, website content management, and marketing initiatives. Responsibilities include providing graphic and design support across the organization; creating videos, graphics, and photo edits to promote activities, programs, and the festival; maintaining and updating website content to ensure it remains current and accessible; and creating ads while working with advertisers to effectively market the festival and year-round programming.

Programs and Performers Services Assistant (PPSA)

The Winnipeg Folk Festival is seeking a detail-oriented team member to support the administrative needs of the festival’s Artistic Department. This role plays a key part in delivering a world-class experience for program participants, artists and the community in addition to facilitating key programs including the Young Performers Program.

Hand-Made Village Applications Open

Join us this summer at the Hand-Made Village to celebrate the 51st edition of the Winnipeg Folk Festival! The Winnipeg Folk Fest will take place July 9 - 12, 2026 in Birds Hill Provincial Park. We are thrilled to feature artisans from across Canada who create their own work in our Hand-Made Village!

Art at Folk Fest comes in all shapes and forms – from the music on stage to the creative wardrobe of the crowd – we welcome it all! The Prairie Outdoor Exhibition is an interactive outdoor art gallery at Folk Fest.
