Volunteering with the Winnipeg Folk Festival is a rewarding experience and a great way to support the Festival!
The key to our success rests in people like you who embody the heart of the Festival and this year will be no different! We would love to have your help in making the 50th Festival happen.
To apply to be an Adult volunteer (18+), please complete this application form.
NOTE: if you are a returning volunteer, do NOT complete a new application form. Registration instructions can be found on the "Current Volunteers" page.
Are you only available to volunteer on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday of the Festival weekend? You can still participate! Single-day volunteers take part in all applicable training and meetings, just the same as a full weekend volunteer, and earn a backstage pass for the day(s) they volunteer. Choose one of three crews: Site Enviro, Site Safety, or Traffic. Use the button above to apply!
To apply to be an Apprentice volunteer, please complete this application form.
Apprentices must be at least 13 years old as of January 1st and under 18 years old at the time of the Festival.
Due to overwhelming popularity, the Apprentice Crew always receives more applicants than we can place. The cutoff for new applications to be considered for the 2025 Festival is April 6, 2025.
