As a non-profit, charitable organization, Winnipeg Folk Festival relies on the support of people like you to offer life-changing musical experiences to young people and community groups. By supporting our annual Online Charity Auction, you help fund two remarkable Winnipeg Folk Festival programs:
- The Guest For a Day Program hosts over 500 members from community groups who would not have the capacity to attend the Winnipeg Folk Festival. Folks from these groups are invited to take in a guided experience of the magical sights, sounds and tastes of the Festival.
- The Young Performers Program creates incredible opportunities for artists aged 14 to 24 to work on their music with artists from the lineup, gain inspiration, hone their craft, glean industry insight, make networking connections, and get the opportunity to perform on a Festival stage.
The Online Charity Auction starts on November 17 at 10:00 AM CT and ends on November 24 at 4:00 PM CT.
Our friends at Edmonton Folk Music Festival have donated two sets of four-day passes to the highly anticipated 2024 Festival, happening from August 8th to 11th. To make this experience even better, Winnipeg Folk Festival will provide round-trip airfare for two to Edmonton.
